Getaway Cabin
One standout project is a two-story, one-bedroom getaway cabin inspired by Islamic architecture. The 600-square-meter house includes a parking area for up to three cars, a modest pool, and an exterior slide connecting the first story directly to the pool.
A defining feature is the intricate use of Islamic patterns on a detached outer layer surrounding the windows, creating a walkable space. This design enhances the interplay of light and shadow, enriching the visual experience both inside and outside the home.
Desert Home
This one-story desert home was designed to meet the client’s desire for both luxury and functionality. The layout includes several key amenities such as a gym, guest lounge, games room, and a large bedroom with enough space to display their Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
The design utilizes wood for the roofing, marble for the interior walls, and darker wood flooring to create a warm yet elegant aesthetic. Horizontal and vertical lines were incorporated into the roof structure to play with natural light, creating shifting shadow patterns throughout the day.
Public Pool Entrance
This refurbishment and renovation project focused on redesigning the entrance to a public pool, primarily emphasizing interior work. Large round skylights were integrated throughout the space to maximize natural interior lighting.
The design prioritizes accessibility, with wide, open areas and a logical layout, ensuring ease of navigation for individuals with disabilities, including those who are blind or in wheelchairs. As both the entrance and exit for the pool, the space was organized to provide a clear and straightforward flow, minimizing confusion for visitors.
